This February, Netinvest organized and held two presentations on wind energy in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the help of MH Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske from in Trebinje and JP Elektroprivreda HZ HB d.d. Mostar from Mostar. Netinvest was invited by the two institutions to share its experience with renewable energy sources while introducing WindSim software package.
The two presentations were a success, attracting much interest, raising many questions and opening discussions. The visits to both cities provided a good opportunity for experts in the field from the region to exchange experiences and discuss difficulties in wind farm development and possible ways of overcoming them.
The main goal of both presentations was to introduce CFD technology for short- and long-term prognoses of wind farm power productivity, commercially available through WindSim, a first-class software package. Netinvest is the official WindSim representative for Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.
Netinvest keeps actively promoting renewable energy sources in the region by forming and strengthening quality partnership with both private and public entities in Serbia and neighboring countries. This two-day visit is just another of many activities that serve this purpose.
